Dr. Jonathan Powell founded his practice in 1996. Since then, he has significantly raised the level of quality at Clockworks, improving the level of dental care, the use of technology, the efficiency of scheduling and billing, and the atmosphere of the office and treatment rooms.
Along with his passion for collecting, rebuilding and maintaining timepieces (hence the practice name), Dr. Powell enjoys computer building and repair. In the warmer months, Dr. Powell enjoys working on and riding his motorcycles.
Military Service: Dr. Powell is a former Marine (enlisted 1982-1984), and was commissioned in the US Army in 1986 as a 1st Lieutenant.
Wendy joined Dr. Powell’s office in April 2011, bringing 24 years of experience as a dental hygienist. Always wanting to provide the best care possible, she takes ongoing continuing education, receiving her license for local anesthesia in June 2011. Understanding that your dental health affects your overall health, she believes that your care is a team effort, with you, the patient being an important member of the team and continuing your care at home.
Ruth joined the practice in late 2012. Having over 30 years in the dental field, she has been an asset. She is in charge of the everyday running of the office, from scheduling, to insurance and personal billing. If you have any questions about financial, she is the person to talk to. Ruth also takes X-rays and assists me chairside when needed.
